Types of Dives
Cozumel dive sites offer both shallow and deep water dives. The visibility is really good. Cozumel dive sites offer visibility from 100 ft to 300 ft. Cozumel dive sites are primarily drift dives meaning you literally get to just go with the current. It makes the dives more relaxing and enjoyable as you aren’t constantly fighting the current to go in one particular direction or another.
In Cozumel you hire a company to go diving. The company will provide the Captain, the air tanks, and a Master Diver who will go down with you to lead you in the dive so you know which direction to go and where the best locations are for seeing whatever type of marine life you want to see. Typically most of the diving companies will provide you with some sort of small snack, breakfast, and some type of water, soda, or juice. Cozumel dives have so much to offer.
